Brusson is a small municipality located at 1338 meters; despite the altitude, this location is characterized by a mild climate that makes it the ideal destination for families. There are in fact many activities to carry out in Brusson; from walks of all difficulties, to the rich presence of lakes and springs to the ski slopes, cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering routes. Dominating the middle Ayas valley, just before entering Brusson is the Castle of Graines, built in the early 10th century and ceded to the Challant family in 1200: it is the ruin symbol of the ancient medieval history of the Valley.
Do not miss the Tchamousira mine whose exploitation of gold quartz strands began during the early years of the twentieth century and which today, thanks to the museum complex built inside, allows its direct visit along the entire route that surrounds it.
