Located at the foot of Mont Avic Nature Park, the Champorcher Valley is a paradise for ski touring lovers with magnificent alpine scenery and challenges for experts and beginners alike.
When you arrive in Champorcher and after parking at the Mont Blanc resort, forget the noise of the city, put on your skis and immerse yourself in a magical route to Lake Miserin and the Shrine of Our Madonna delle Nevi. If you are looking for more adrenaline-fueled thrills, we recommend pushing on to the Rose of the Banks, where, you can descend through narrow, steep couloirs. If, on the other hand, you prefer the lifts but do not want to give up a descent in deep snow you can go as far as Cimetta and descend to the Dondena refuge. For those who are just starting out and don't want to give up the thrill of descending in fresh snow, Mont Rachas and Mont Ros are ideal routes. Starting in 2003 the Mont Avic Park was expanded to some areas of the Champorcher Valley, giving the possibility of hiking along very specific trails and tracks. This is why we advise you to rely on our mountain guides for any doubts or requests, especially for beginners and those who would like to explore the Natural Park.
