The WeissRun is now in its third edition, on the Leonardo David lighted slope in Gressoney-Saint-Jean the challengers play for the title for the Italian "classic" SkySnow Championship.

The event takes place on a snow-covered loop course of about 9.5 km with 800 meters of positive elevation gain in which competitors run wearing special micro-climbers.

The course traces the beautiful ski slopes of the Monterosa Spa "Weissmatten" ski area.

Competitors race on the illuminated slopes of the Leonardo David slope and once they reach the 2022-meter altitude of "Casa Capriata" they descend on the blue slope that takes them to the finish line located at the start of the Weissmatten chairlift.

The "Sport Haus" arena will be used as a venue for bib pick-up, showering, post-race pasta party and awards ceremony.
