The gratitude festival was born in the early 80s with the intention of thanking the village elders and expressing our gratitude to them.
Like every year, the association’s youth group, in collaboration with the parish priest, is working hard to organize this important celebration which is now in its 41st edition.
Program of the various days:
Friday 9th June:
- The population will be invited to gather in the pavilion located in Fratelli square at Antagnod for a moment of celebration;
- Starting at 21:00 the evening will be animated by the “Li Poudzo Valdotain” orchestra;
- Some representatives of the Aosta Valley folk groups will also be present with members of “Nos Racines”.
Saturday 10th June:
- Starting at 19:30 the usual dinner will be served to which the whole population is invited;
- Afterwards, the evening will be animated by the orchestra “I Ragazzi del Villaggio”.
Sunday 11th June:
- At 10:30 the guests invited to the party will participate in the Holy Mass, presided over by the parish priests of Ayas;
- Upon leaving the church, the guests will be greeted by a group of young people who will offer a small refreshment;
- From 12:30 the young people will serve the lunch they have prepared;
- From 15:30 the whole population is invited to participate in a moment of thanksgiving and joy that will see the participation of the folk group “Li Tsoque d’Ayas”.
