Ski mountaineering at night in the Monterosa Ski area

Ski mountaineering by night in the Monterosa Ski area - It is possible to climb the slopes from Staffal to Colle Bettaforca, and have an high-altitude dinner in one of the restaurants of the area: Restaurant Jutz (tel. +39 349 2207218), Restaurant Sitten (tel. +39 0125 366300) and Restaurant Colle Betta (+39 391 7594890).

Two routes are available:

  • from Staffal to Sant'Anna, along slope B6 'Delle Marmotte', with a length of 2300 metres and an elevation gain of 350 metres;
  • from Sant'Anna to Colle Betta, along the 'Colle Betta' ski route, with a length of 3100 metres and an elevation gain of 550 metres.

The descent is possible along the slopes 'Pistone Betta', 'Delle Marmotte' and 'Diretta Staffal'.
The last descent from Colle Betta is at 10pm and from Sant'Anna at 10.15pm and is followed by the ski patrol members.
