Opening hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm

Opening periods:

From January 4 to March 29 → open from Thursday to Monday

Christmas Holidays: open on January 4, 5 and 6, 2026. Closed on January 7 and 8, 2026.

From Friday, January 9, 2026, Wold will be open with the standard schedule, from Thursday to Monday.

Carnival period: open every day from February 14 to February 22

A perfect place to have fun and learn on the snow

The Wold in Alagna is the ideal area to take your first steps on skis or simply spend a fun day on the snow with your family.
Here you can:

• learn to ski on simple and safe slopes,

• taste a hot meal in the sun with a view of Monte Rosa.

Learning is fun

Located in the Merletti district of Alagna, the Wold is a small ski resort designed for beginners and children.
It includes:

• two slopes served by a ski lift,

• a ski school area with a magic carpet,

• instructors from the Alagna Ski & Snowboard School, always ready to teach with passion and professionalism.

How to reach the Wold

The area is easily accessible:

• with a paid parking lot next to the slopes,

• or with the free shuttle service connecting the Wold to the center of Alagna and the main parking areas.

The “Wonder Wold”: adventure for little ones

A world of mini off-piste trails and themed paths designed for children!
Thanks to courses organized by the Alagna Valsesia Ski & Snowboard School, even the youngest can learn while having fun in a safe and stimulating environment.

Recharge directly on the slopes

After a morning skiing, take a break at the Wold Bar & Restaurant.
A sunny terrace overlooking the slopes awaits you with traditional Valsesian dishes and sweets perfect for a family snack.
