The Summer of 2022 continues in Monterosa

Nature, culture, trekking, mountaineering and outdoor experiences across Piedmont and the Aosta Valley. Here’s what awaits you!

We have planned a season full of activities and appointments, meanwhile here’s all the opening dates of the main lift area and of the small stations around Monterosa.

The first to open were the Gressoney-La-Trinité lifts, which from 1 June operate along the route from Stafal to Punta Indren every day until 18 September. The Stafal-Sant’Anna cable car and the Sant’Anna-Colle Betta chairlift are open every day until 4 September, while the Punta Jolanda chair lift every weekend in July and every day from 30 July to 4 September. 

The Piedmontese access to the district, in Alagna Valsesia, is operational every day until 18 September along the Alagna-Passo dei Salati route, and up to Punta Indren. In July and August, access to Punta Indren is also guaranteed with work all day long with no stops.

In Champoluc, the Champoluc-Crest cable car and the Frachey-Ciarcerio funicular are open every day unti 4 September. The Crest-Ostafa cable car opens on weekends in July and every day from 23 July to 4 September, while the Mandria and Bettaforca chairlifts are operational on weekends in July every day from 30 July to 4 September.

The Palasinaz chairlift in Brusson, the Scopello-Mera chairlift at Alpe di Mera and the Weissmatten chairlift in Gressoney-Saint-Jean are also open, while the Chardonney-Laris cable car in Champorcher remains closed until the next winter season due to a general overhaul.
