Capanna Margherita, highest alpine refuge in Europe

In addition to the iconic Capanna Margherita and Gnifetti, the Rosa Massif offers numerous refuges and bivouacs for mountain and mountaineering enthusiasts, places to warm up and refresh after the tiring excursions on its glaciers and peaks.

In addition to being a technical landing place, refuges have always been a meeting place managed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, who make mountaineering not just a sport, but a community that has always shared successes and defeats, joys and sorrows, always maintaining the fulcrum on the Goddess Mountain, which moves and attracts the souls of its followers to its exploration and conquest.

Below you will find all the references of the refuges present in the Monte Rosa area and the relative contacts.
