Brusson is home to one of the most important cross-country skiing centers in the Aosta Valley. In total there are 50 km of slopes starting at 1660 meters above sea level.
The main track is known as Trois Villages, which runs from Brusson to the towns of Arcésaz, Vollon and Extremiéraz. All the services, from hire, to changing rooms with showers and refreshments, are located in the well-equipped Foyer du Fond, in the Vollon area, where there is also a 1 km slope for beginners. In Brusson there is also a polygon for biathlon; various national and international competitions have been held here.
The 50 km of slopes also include those of Estoul Palasinaz which offers 10 km of medium difficulty tracks (5 easy) and which is located at higher altitudes (1855 metres), near the alpine ski facilities.
The wide plain of Vollon is perfect for beginners and for those who want to put their skis on for the first time. For the more expert skiers, however, we advise not to miss the over 15 km of perfectly snow-covered slopes that connect the villages of Arcesaz and Extrepieraz, located north and south of the municipality of Brusson.
