It is a pedestrian trail suitable for everyone, groomed on fresh snow. Also ideal for those who have strollers equipped with all terrain wheels.
It is a route of approximately 2 km, completely flat, which runs alongside the Evançon stream, passes behind the Ayas Guide Office, until reaching the car park of the Spa Monterosa thermal centre.
The characteristic wooden arch with the words “Area Pian Villy” carved into it invites adults and children to discover the wonderful hidden forest, in which they will be able to admire the beautiful and particular sculptures in wood and soapstone created by the most famous Aosta Valley artists on the occasion of the week of craftsmanship.
The Pian Villy forest is almost completely composed of spruce trees, while the undergrowth is populated by juniper, heather, barberis and blueberry plants.
It is also perfect for an evening walk as the first part is illuminated!
