Founded in 2002, the Cooperative Fromagerie Haut Val d'Ayas was born in Brusson with the intent
of local farmers to make the most of the production of collected milk
mainly in Brusson and Ayas. Today the cooperative brings together about 60 producers.
Their mission is to enhance the agricultural production of the territory in all its expressions,
producing high quality dairy products and seeking continuous innovation of product, of
process and service while respecting the tradition and values of centuries-old culture
peasant from Aosta Valley.
The Fromagerie Haut Val d'Ayas offers local cheeses such as the Fontina PDO or the
Fromadzo PDO, products with environmentally friendly milk. The cooperative in fact holds the
Organic certification since 2004.
