From Brusson, immediately go up to the right (looking towards the upper valley) for Estoul. You cover 7 km with 500 m in altitude on excellent asphalt and constant slopes.
From Estoul follow the signs for Rif. Arp along the dirt road of about 6.5 km with compact surface and medium slopes up to the plateau at the base of M. Bieteron and Lake Litteram. From here the last stretch with more steep slopes and damp and not very compact bottom leads to the Refuge at an altitude of 2422m.
It is possible to continue on the partially cycle path and go down to Alpe Palasina and then again on the uphill road.
