From the square in Gressoney-La-Trinité, follow trail marker no. 10.
The trail is rather steep and runs between sparse larch trees with a continuous succession of twists and turns around some cliffs.
After the first section, you reach an alpine pasture and then turn left to reach the hump where the Cozzi bivouac was located.
