A Monte Rosa that excites!
Reaching one of the best observation points on the south face of our massif is simple and rewarding.
Get to Pianalunga (2.046 meters above sea level) using the ski lifts that start from Alagna. Once you are here you have two ways to join the path 205a. Go down a few meters along the dirt road that leads to Alpe Seiwji, or proceed upwards and keep on the ski slope.
The time to reach Bocchetta is approximately one hour and 30 minutes. If you choose to leave from Alagna instead, it will take about 3 hours. Go downhill and enjoy a typical dish in a hut in Pianalunga or Alpe Seiwji!
We always advise you to check the conditions of the route before leaving and to request information and a map from the Tourist Office of Alagna, in Piazza Grober.
Once you arrive you can enjoy an incredible view, you will feel you can touch the Regina Margherita hut!
