Brusson

Brusson: things to do when it rains

By: Visit Brusson

brusson

Brusson is a mountain village that offers many tourist attractions, but what to do when the weather is not on our side and it rains?

Don’t worry! Brusson is still a perfect destination for indoor activities, with many options to satisfy your historical and cultural curiosity.

Here are our 4 proposals:

-The mines of Brusson are a unique experience to immerse you in the life of the ancient miners. Walking along the underground corridors, you can discover how minerals were extracted and how people lived in the mine.

-The Fort of Bard, a 19th century fortress overlooking the valley. The fort has been restored and transformed into a museum, where you can discover the history of the Alps and the region.

-The Issogne Castle, a unique example of Renaissance architecture in the Aosta Valley, with a park and an Italian garden.

-The Verrès Castle, dating back to the 14th century, is one of the largest and best preserved castles in the region.

Don’t let the rain stop you and discover all that Brusson has to offer.
