Hight Altitude Dinners in Gressoney-La-Trinité

By: Visit Monterosa

CENE IN QUOTA

A dinner at the top is a unique food and wine experience.

When the ski slopes are empty and silence falls over our mountains, the evening lights provide a romantic atmosphere that becomes the ideal setting for a gourmet rendezvous to be enjoyed from the ascent to the mountain hut to the night-time descent under the clear starry sky of our beautiful valley.

There are several structures that offer this experience

Ristoro Colle Betta

As with the Sitten restaurant, the Colle Betta restaurant can be reached from Staffal via the cable car to Sant'Anna, from here a snowcat organised by monterosa spa will take you to the restaurant at 2727m, where an à la carte menu of typical Valle d'Aosta dishes awaits you.

Ristorante Morgenrot

At 1815m after the village of Gressoney-La-Trinité in the Frazione Orsia, a private road starts that will take you to the Mongenrot restaurant in just a few minutes. It is a cosy restaurant with a typical mountain style and a very fine cuisine that revisits traditional dishes from Valle d'Aosta and Piemonte.

In addition to being able to reach the restaurant on foot or with snowshoes, you can also take a private snowcat.

Reservation required.

It is advisable to enquire through the restaurant about road conditions in the event of an ascent on foot.
