The Saturday market, Samstag Märt in Gressoney local language, is a fixed appointment of the summer season which, weather permitting, lasts until the end of October.
In the Zer Miele vegetable garden, a few steps from Castel Savoia and with Monte Rosa as a backdrop, seven producers from the Lys Valley have given life to a lively and virtuous community that offers vegetables, honey, jams, biscuits, pasture cheese and bread.
The project, whose promotion was supported by the 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme, was born not only with the aim of selling products grown at zero km but with the aim of promoting an edible culture where the centrality passes from simple production to a broader concept that embraces the ancient peasant knowledge, the care of the landscape, the values and the passion that animate the producers.
