There are 3 main tracks each with its own peculiarities.
The queen ones is in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, 25 kilometers that lead from the center of the village towards the Dresal plain to the north and the larch woods of Castel Savoia to the south. It's also called the track of champions because world champions such as Arianna Follis were born here, as well as national champions such as Agostino Filippa, Greta Laurent and Francesco De Fabiani. It is Federico Pellegrino's usual training track, the most successful Italian cross-country skier of all time.
In Gressoney-La Trinité track literally passes through the village, you can ski for 6 km admiring ancient Walser buildings, often until late spring. In some periods you can also ski at high altitude in Sant'Anna by taking the cable car to reach the track.
