Area in a dense forest consisting almost exclusively of spruce with sporadic examples of larch. Undergrowth consists of Juniper, Heather, Berberis and Bilberry. The area is open from 27 May to 17 September 2023.
The area, located at the end of the valley, offers views of the Becca Piure to the south-east, Monte Zerbion to the south, and the Rocca di Verra, Breithorn and Rocce Nere to the north. Several hikes are possible from this area: using the cableway of the ski lifts, you can reach Crest, from where you can admire Monte Testa Grigia and reach the village of Cunéaz, a typical mountain settlement, and the Pinter and Perrin Lakes. Crossing the Evançon stream near Frachey, you can reach the Tournalin valley and the Colle di Nana.
