The orographic right side of the Ayas Valley is a marvelous amphitheater that rises from Mount Zerbion to Mont Facebelle and the Nanaz valley. Just where the two meet, set on a natural lookout, Lochien Lake offers incredible views of all the peaks that crown the valley, from the nearby Gran Tournalin to the Breithorns to the Lyskamm and the Vincent Pyramid. Its remote location, away from villages and major routes, gives this place an almost magical, peace-filled atmosphere.
